Calgary Yacht Club Nestled between the prairies and the Rocky Mountains you will find the Calgary Yacht Club, located on the east side of Chestermere Lake. In 1933, an avid group of sailors incorporated what is today the best sailing facility in southern Alberta. The Club has grown to it’s present size from a small core group of enthusiasts, some of whom were among the first to build on the lakefront.               The Club offers Learn to Sail programs for adults and children throughout spring and summer and has an active racing team for young sailors as well as a very strong MAster’s program Calgary Yacht Club

St. Mary’s Sailing Club
St. Mary’s Sailing Club (SMSC) is located on the south shore of St. Mary’s
Reservoir, 15 km northeast of Cardston and 65 km southwest of Lethbridge.
Onshore facilities include a 10 acre leased property, rustic clubhouse,
outhouses, a launch ramp and dock. Members sail in clean mountain water on
a large (37 sq. km) reservoir in the southwestern extremity of Alberta’s
prairies. SMSC is in a rebuilding phase and welcomes energetic new members
with a passion for sailing and a can-do attitude to work towards
re-developing a historic sailing facility in the windiest part of Alberta.

Wildrose Charters and Sailing Schools offers Sail Canada’s Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Cruising certifications in AB and BC.
