At the recent Alberta Sailing Association Annual General Meeting, the following people were elected to serve on the Alberta Sailing Association Board of Directors.

President                                 Tim Griggs (Glenmore Sailing Club)

Treasurer                                Ron Hewitt (Glenmore Sailing Club/FACS)

Secretary                                 Ian Leitch (City of Calgary)

Director at Large                    John Cormack (Newell Sailing Club)

Director at Large                    Stacey Gibb (Wabamun Sailing Club)

Director at Large                    Mark Lambert (Disabled Sailing Alberta)

Director at Large                    Garry Chan (Calgary Yacht Club)

John Cormack is a member in good standing of Newell Sailing Club.  John is in charge of all the maintenance and storing of ASA equipment,

Stacey Gibb is a member in good standing of Wabamun Sailing Club and her interests are in the Race Management side of sailing as well as developing more Judges in Alberta.

Mark Lambert is the Commodore of Disabled Sailing Association of Alberta.

Garry Chan is a member in good standing of the Calgary Yacht Club and his interest is in building a strong youth racing program in the province.

Three of our 2016 Board members have stepped off the Board, but we would like to thank Michael Hooper, Kelsey Stroppel and Braden Gray for their service and contributions, especially during our Strategic Planning sessions.
