Sail Canada Training Fees Increase

Sail Canada announced today that the user fee for all participants in any
CanSail course for 2015 is going up from $10 to $12, with further increases
to

2016 the fee will be $16 per participant
2017 the fee will be $18 per participant
2018 the fee will be $18 per participant
2019 the fee will be $24 per participant
2020 the fee will be $24 per participant

This fee includes the use of the CANSail programs which are constantly
updated, a seal and certificate upon the completion of any course, uploaded
data and registration in the national database.

The fee will be automatically subtracted for those using Checklick.

The user fee for the National Learn to Sail programs are in most cases a user fee
which is paid by the participant either as an additional fee to the course
or part of the course fee. Please adjust your pricing accordingly.
The annual school fee will be $220 for 2015 with the annual fee going to
$260 in 2017, $300 for 2017-2019 and $350 for 2020.

A new club membership fee structure is being worked on, but will not be
implemented until 2016 after consultation with our clubs.

Remember to let us know how many participants you are expecting in 2017 so
Alberta Sailing can order enough seals.
