The Alberta Sailing Association supports a variety of sailing clubs, schools, and other organizations of sailors throughout Alberta, and our member groups run programs for a variety of ages and abilities. Location: Argentia Beach, Alberta
Youth summer camp (ages 8-17) running the 3rd and 4th week of July each year, with the option to register for just one week. Our program is based around primarily around Learn-to-sail, as well as Learn-to-Race. Our fleet consists of Lasers, Laser Picos, Laser II. Youth one-on-one lessons are also available.

Calgary Yacht Club runs youth race teams for a variety of fleets including Optimist, Laser 4.7 and Radial, 420, and 29er. CYC also offers youth summer camps for children aged 5 to 17.

Youth Summer Camps (ages 5-17) and a Youth Race Team provide youth opportunities to sail dinghies including the Optimist, Laser (4.7, Radial, Full), 420 and 29er. Youth keelboat courses give kids an opportunity to sail bigger boats as part of a team with other youth.

Glenmore Sailing School provides sailing summer camps for children aged 7 to 17 through the City of Calgary's recreation department. GSS also offers youth evening and weekend Learn-to-Sail and Learn-to-Race classes.

Great Slave Sailing Club offers sailing summer camps for children aged 5 to 17.
Location: Lake Newell Provincial Park, Alberta
Newell Sailing Club maintains active Byte, Laser Radial, and Laser Standard fleets for both children and adults.

In collaboration with Wabamun Sailing Club and Edmonton Yacht Club, Northern Alberta Sailing College offers Learn-to-Sail courses for children aged 8 to 17 in both Optimist and 420.

Wabamun Sailing Club offers weekend sailing courses for children aged 8 to 17.

Calgary Yacht Club maintains active racing fleets of Lightning dinghies and a competitive Master's fleet in Laser Radial and Standard. CYC additionally offers adult Learn-to-Sail classes for beginner and intermediate 420 sailors.

Cooking Lake Sail Club offers weekly dinghy club racing, as well as free Introduction to Sailing events throughout the summer for ages 16 and up.

We are right beside the largest sailing school in Canada (Glenmore Sailing School). Enjoy an adult dinghy learn to sail course there then join the Club to continue sailing the Club's Lasers and 420s through our co-op boat program. All the fun without owning a boat. Recreational and racing sailing opportunities from May 1-Oct 31.

The Foothills Association of Cruising Sailors is a community of cruising sailors based in Calgary Alberta. FACS offers monthly socials and organizes flotilla sailing cruises for members.

Ghost Lake Sailing Academy offers a variety of cruising courses including Sail Canada Basic Cruising courses, Operator Card, Marine Radio, and others.

Start with a learn to sail course, continue with a Keelboat Skipper course. Then enjoy sailing the Club's co-op keelboats. Our weekly social sailing and racing runs May 1 - Oct 31. Youth Keelboat and Women's Only Start Keelboat Sailing courses available. Calgary has the largest fleet of SanJuan 21 keelboats in North America.
