Administrative Staff
Job Position: Administrator
Kathy Speck
Administrator
In August of 2023, Kathy started working for the Alberta Sailing Association (ASA) as the Administrator. As a kid, sitting on the end of the family dock, Kathy often noticed a young man a few lots away and thought “what an idiot!” - now they are married. Kathy says she will never tire of seeing sailboats on the water!
Now, Kathy’s role at the ASA is the glue that keeps the Association running. She has proven to be integral in the ASA’s efforts to continually improve serving the sailing community in Alberta. Kathy describes the sailing community as one of the most welcoming groups she has ever encountered. Kathy welcomes and encourages all members of the sailing community to reach out, even if just to say hello, and to share insights into how we can better serve you as our valued members.
